To blog or not to blog

Well, it seems I've finally been convinced to join the blogging world. Not to mention at the suggestion of a very good friend of mine.

So, you might ask, what took me so long?

Procrastination, I guess. And the heavy burden of blogging regularly. Let's face it, we're all busy people. (Okay, some of us are.) So where to find the time between life, work and all the stuff that happens in between?

For me it's not so much to tell the world what I think and what my opinions are (admittedly, there will be that), but more to encourage new writers to keep on trying, share what I've learned over the years from more experienced writers and hopefully become a better writer myself. Then there's also the subtle hints or comments about my own writings. Such as commenting on the writing/editing of my very own animation series currently in production. But ("Never start a sentence with the word But," my English teacher would say.) I'll let you read more about that in my profile :-)

So here goes my foray into the world of blogging. Hopefully I won't bore you too much with my senseless writings. For new writers I hope it will encourage you to continue writing. For those old hats, remind you of things you have forgotten and what it was like to start out.
